The Music Box

The Music Box was established in Gilwern by local pianist and teacher, Nichola McCloy in 2008.

At The Music Box, we aim to provide a warm, nurturing environment in which budding pianists can grow in ability and confidence. We are a medium sized studio with a professional yet friendly atmosphere We welcome students as young as 6, (sometimes even 4 or 5), and consider it never too late to learn. It is our belief that laying the foundations of good piano technique is of the utmost importance and include the study of this in our lessons from day one.

We offer regular performance opportunities and encourage students to enter for graded exams with both ABRSM and Trinity College. We are also keen to provide a repertoire rich education and promote keen musicianship skills.
