This self-paced program, "Grade 1 Music Theory," is designed to introduce beginners to the foundational concepts of music theory. The course covers essential topics such as note reading, rhythm, scales, and basic musical terms. Participants will gain the skills needed to read and understand simple sheet music and prepare for Grade 1 music theory exams with confidence. The program is structured to allow learners to progress at their own pace, making it suitable for students of all ages, whether they are young beginners or adults starting their musical journey. With clear explanations and practical exercises, this course ensures a solid understanding of the basics of music theory. The Grade 1 course is divided into two sections to make learning more manageable and effective. This is Part 1, designed to help you build a strong foundation before moving on to the next stage. As an added benefit, participants are able to book 20-minute 1:1 Zoom sessions, (priced separately). By the end of the program, participants will have a strong foundation to advance to the next level of music theory and apply their learning to their musical practice.
